With Your Help!
In 2026, Urban Aviators Society brought hands-on aviation instruction to 384 young people across Central Ohio, through partners including the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Ohio, Festa and Imagine Columbus Primary Academy. Students learned the physics of flight and then took the controls themselves. Twenty-eight students moved on to a multi-session drone class, our AeroSTEAM program launched in January of 2025, and seven participants completed FAA Part 107 drone ground school. Four participants have since enrolled in flight lessons with our partner flight schools.

The Urban Aviators Society is deeply committed to STEAM education, integrating science, technology, engineering, aviation, and mathematics into our programs. Through hands-on learning projects and immersive experiences, we inspire youth to explore STEAM careers within aviation. Our mentorship and educational initiatives help students develop critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a passion for innovation, preparing them for success in the aviation industry and beyond.
