The Urban Aviators Society opens the skies of possibility for youth from underrepresented and underserved communities by expanding access to aviation and STEAM education. Through hands-on learning, mentorship, and exposure to real-world aviation technology and careers, we develop young people to see themselves as pilots, engineers, innovators, and leaders. By removing barriers and igniting confidence, curiosity, and skill, we are building a diverse generation prepared to soar. Turning dreams of flight into lasting opportunities for success in life.

The Urban Aviators Society strives to create an equitable and inclusive future in which youth from all communities have access to the education, mentorship, and resources needed to soar, turning their passion for flight and technology into leadership, innovation, and lasting opportunity.
The Urban Aviators Society began with a simple but bold vision: to make aviation accessible to everyone, no matter their background or where they come from. Founded by passionate aviators committed to breaking down barriers, we create opportunities for future pilots, engineers, and innovators to discover the power of flight and explore careers in aviation and STEAM.
Our Story
Our journey began with one powerful idea: representation matters. Founded by a passionate aviator committed to breaking down barriers, who saw a lack of access and visibility for youth from communities with untapped potential. What started as a personal calling became a nonprofit mission to open doors and remove barriers.
Today, Urban Aviators Society is a growing network of mentors, educators, pilots, and partners working together to inspire the next generation of dreamers, doers, and innovators. We’re proud to collaborate with schools, flight instructors, aviation companies, and community organizations that share our vision for opportunity.
What We Do
We connect youth with experiences that ignite curiosity and confidence:

Why We Do What We Do
The aviation industry faces a challenge, and communities with untapped potential often lack the resources to explore the limitless opportunities this field offers. Through initiatives like Aviation Futures, where youth experience the thrill of flight, and AeroSTEAM, which connects classroom concepts to real-world innovation, we’ve been able to unlock potential and help our youth chart exciting paths forward.
